Are you ready? It is time for Vegas Uncork’d 2018. And the schedule looks brutal. Part 1

It is just that time of the year that my fat inside (and outside too) begins to smile. News has come of the agenda of Vegas Uncork’d, my culinary event favorite for all that means. And as was expected, the new things that there are to presume to speak of the constant reinvention and pampering of the palate in the city of sin. So today I’m going to tell you what is coming new to the 12th Edition of this event. In a few days I will tell you of the classics that are returning. Can hone palates, prepare diet for a couple of months and train the stomach that indulgence has names and surnames.

Master Series: An Anniversary Celebration at Nobu.

The huge master Nobu Matsuhisa is going to celebrate another year in the Caesars Palace and if you are with the desire that no other sushi restaurant I try to know like, go away experience to experience the years of expertise and travels around the world, Nobu has resulted in his creations.

Master Series: Rao’s Remembers Frank Sr.

Each year is a tradition for us to close Vegas Uncork’d with the brunch of Rao’s, one of our favorite Italian cuisine. Last year, in January, Frank Pellegrino Sr. passed away at the age of 72 after a fight against cancer. It is time to pay him a tribute in the tables which became his passion outside of the sets of the film and television. The appointment is on the 10th of may at Caesars Palace.

Coffee and Cake with Giada.

Giada De Laurentiis opens new location in Las Vegas: Soon. And it is our opportunity to be the first to know about the concept and flavors of this star cuisine that has made sin city the only home of its restaurants. In addition it is always a joy to enjoy the mastery of Counter Culture Coffee, who will give us a workshop of coffee that will end up, obviously, in a wine tasting as it should be.

Raise a Glass to the Past: A Speakeasy Tasting and Distillery Tour at the Mob Museum.

Now everyone wants to gather Speakeasy and do not quite understand what that means and origin. Perhaps there is no better place for that than the Museum of the Mafia in Downtown Las Vegas, where the spirit of the Prohibition era is saved in each space. Wine tasting, cocktails of the era, art exhibit and live jazz take to Vegas Uncork’d of the Strip one more time to take it to the great history of the city.

Master Series: Women’s Power Lunch.

Think of the great women of the Las Vegas culinary. Will Susan Feniger, Christina Tosi and Elizabeth Blau gathered at Border Grill to celebrate the femininity of the kitchen and the strength of the women in the kitchen. Wines of enólogas and cocktail bar with a house tequila property of a woman break the glass ceiling in this event. It is the first year and no doubt become an instant classic.

CrazyShake Master: The Black Tap Epic Milkshake Make-off.

For the first time in Vegas Uncork’d is thinking in chavitos. The team of Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer will be in the hands of those who will go the CraftShake and we will be able to create a milkshake, only with the hope that the winner ends up in the menu. Master Series: Old Homestead’s Private Selection Bourbon Dinner, feat. Pappy Van Winkle.

If you are a fan of bourbon, this is the event that have to go. Even will be for tasting and wine pairing at the dinner one of the Bourbon most amazing in the world: Pappy Van Winkle. The menu of the Old Homestead will be put to the test for the marriage more unique than ever.

Sip of the Culinary Empire with Phil Park.

When we talk about master minds of wine in Las Vegas, Phil Park is at the top of the list. And promises a journey through the jewelry of the collection of the hotel, we know that what can happen is unique. Wines spectacular with snacks from the kitchens of Mr. Chow, Mesa Grill and Guy Savoy painted to be one of the best moments of 2018.

A CUT Above the Rest: The Ultimate Steak & Eggs Breakfast at CUT by Wolfgang Puck.

For the first time the Chef Wolfgang Puck will prepare a breakfast for the attendees of las Vegas Uncork’d. The philosophy of Puck has always been the quality of the ingredient and a simple kitchen that maximizes. Sumémosle cocktails and good wines and is a great way to say Good morning in Las Vegas.
