Fillets of Sole Frosting with Soy and Honey

To eat healthy, I repeat, should be fun and tasty. And put fish in the daily diet is always a good idea, always and when not to be tilapia, so that we are on a Flounder, we grab our Soy Sauce Kikkoman all we have at home, a little bit of honey and met├ímonos to the kitchen. On today’s menu: Fillets of Sole with Soy Glaze and Honey.

To make the Frosting with Soy and Honey, we need:

  • 1/4 cup of Honey.
  • A quarter cup of mirin
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce, Kikkoman classic.

In addition we need to

  • 4 fillets of sole
  • Olive oil
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper

This is so easy. Let’s start with Soy Glaze.

In a frying pan is combined with the soy Kikkoman, honey and mirin. Mix them well and bring to a boil over medium heat. Don’t stop move it, and let it reduce for about ten minutes. Remove from heat and let cool down a bit.

Dry well the fish fillets with a paper napkin. Season with salt and pepper the skin and meat. In what they leave that grip temperature the fish, lay them in a bowl with the olive oil and two-thirds of the frosting. Throw the fish in there to fill well the soy glaze and honey and put in a pan about 3 to 4 minutes per side, glaseando with a brush using the rest of the mixture.

Serve and put the lemon zest. Enjoy.
