Gift homemade : Fudge the 2 chocolates and almonds
The holidays are here, suffice to say that I am at the last minute for my delicious gifts to give to the teachers at the school. It must be said that in this period, there are still a lot of work : the activity next to My Sweet Shop, projects 2014, contracts to negotiate or re-negotiate, etc, in Short, I’m behind on everything, but I still had the time to prepare some tasty delights.
In the greedy baskets, we have slipped : bags of homemade granola embellished this time from the seeds of squash and sunflower seeds, the dough spread the Caramel in small pots transparent or tubes, shortbread biscuits with spices and … at the fuge with 2 chocolates and almonds.
Here is the recipe :
- 200 g sweetened condensed milk
- 150 g milk chocolate
- 150 g of dark chocolate
- 100 g of blanched almonds
- 1 small handful of mini marshmallows (optional)
Roast the almonds in a non-stick pan and allow to cool. Chop the 2 chocolates. In a saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk over low heat. Off the heat, stir in 1/3 of the chocolate in the condensed milk hot and stir to melt. Do the same with the 2 thirds one after the other (the mixture will thicken and become very glossy). Add the almonds and mix well to incorporate. Then add the marshmallows.
Pour into a square pan or rectangular in shape and pack everything well for about 1.5 to 2 cm thickness and store in a cool place for a few hours or a whole night.
Remove from the pan and cut the fudge into squares. Place the squares of fudge into small sachets, confectionery, and close with a pretty sticker with “Hand made”.
