Prescription. Cocktails for the Star Wars fan inside you

As this is soon to consent to the adult who remains a child, now that is the Star Wars Day, we decided to do a little research on cocktails that have been inspired by this saga. And we found two that are incredible. We did it, and I bring you the recipes that they published their creators. So we can say May The Fourth Be With You. And, best of all, I have a few options to pamper your Jedi inside. But that right now is the teach. On the bar today serving: Cocktails from Star Wars.

We started with the Cocktails of Star Wars with one called Drink Me, You Will.

This cocktail created by Bryan Gall in the Bar Bacchus Hotel Kimpton Vintage in Portland, has the great master Yoda as the inspiration. We need the following.

  • 1 ounce and a half of Calvados.
  • An ounce of apple cider.
  • 1/2 ounce of syrup of sage simple.
  • 1/2 ounce of lemon juice.
  • 6 leaves of basil.
  • To decorate we need sage leaves.

First I leave the preparation of the syrup of sage. Heat up a cup of sugar with one cup of water over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until dissolved. Let cool and put in a sealed container by adding 8 sage leaves cut in half. Let all the night infusione.

For the cocktail need to your shaker and put ice and all ingredients. Shake. Sneaks in a cup martinera and decorate with two leaves of sage fresh. Yes… like the ears of Yoda.

Now we go with one called Rancor”s Toothpick.

This cocktail was created by Timothy Meiner of the Long Island Bar in Brooklyn. And before anything else, I need to buy these molds of ice in the page of Williams Sonoma Mexico so that it is all quite logical with the subject. Let’s look at the ingredients.

  • 1 and half ounce of Bourbon Old Forester 100-proof.
  • An ounce of the liqueur Cynar.
  • 1 ounce of Vermouth sweet.
  • 1/2 tsp. of Bitters Mole. Yes. Mole.

Mix the ingredients with ice and biting back. Go and serve in an Old Fashion with ice. Obvious, of the ice, which I told them. Take the peel of an orange and barnicen with the oil to the edge of all the glass. Health.
