Prescription. Gazpacho to calm the heat of this spring.
Are the days in which the weather begins to change and it is always good to give freshness to the body and the food that we consume. And if, in addition, we can do it in a healthy way and that will inject vitamins and nutrition to our body, as what better. This recipe we share with you after a special dinner that you cook for a Spanish friend with nostalgia for the flavors of his land and is one of the easiest that we can give them. On the menu today: Gazpacho.
For the Gazpacho we’re going to need:
- 6 tomatoes ripe.
- 2 green bell peppers
- 1 red bell pepper
- Cucumber (one piece)
- The heart of an onion.
- 1 clove of garlic
- The crumb of half a baguette or a croissant great. (Dejenla macerate covering of water)
- Extra virgin olive oil (Eye: That is of extraordinary quality, if you don’t ruin your gazpacho)
- 1 hard-boiled egg, minced or chopped Parsley to decorate.
There are to peel the cucumber and the tomatoes. For these last, to warm water in a pot and make a cut in the shape of a cross in the bottom of the tomatoes. Prepare a bowl with water and ice. When the water is boiling, put the tomatoes to the pot by not more than 40 seconds and sáquenlos to put them directly in the water with ice. Refrigerate for an hour minimum and serve decorating it with sticks of cucumber, or diced hard-boiled egg, or just a bit of finely chopped parsley. It also serves for large meetings.
