Prescription. Salad of Tomato and Watermelon with a Dressing of Soy and Honey
After much thought, I think that I have come to the conclusion that the watermelon is my favorite fruit. Yes… the handle has its own, but the watermelon has such a freshness second to none. When I remove fruit, what I crave is a water-Melon. And as I’m very healthy, I bought a Soy Sauce Reduced Sodium Kikkoman, so I got to play with my salads. On the menu today is a Salad of Tomato and Watermelon with a Dressing of Soy and Honey.
First, the dressing of Soy and Honey.
- 3/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil.
- 2 tbsp. honey bee
- 1/4 cup soy sauce reduced sodium Kikkoman.
This, as you know, it’s easy. Mix all in a food processor. Add the oil in a thread until you have everything integrated.
We already have the dressing of Soy and Honey that we need. Now missing the ingredients of the salad.
- 1 Red Watermelon, cut into cubes.
- 1 Watermelon yellow, cut into cubes.
- 4 Heirloom Tomatoes: cut into quarters.
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes corttados half.
- 100 grams of goat cheese in moronas.
- 1/4 cup of nuts.
- 2 tbsp. of basil leaf
Put everything except the basil, cheese and walnut in a bowl of salad and mix well. Bathe with the dressing of soy and honey. Serve and add cheese, walnuts and basil for garnish.
