Recipe Corn dogs in a crust of potatoes
Many years ago I loved to prepare these Corn Dogs with a crust of potato for the holidays of my children when they were small. The time has passed and they are no longer children, but still like to reach and find this snack at home when we visit, it is one of those dishes that brings you back to your childhood and moments very happy. For adults or for children, I assure you all will love it.
- 8 sausages of turkey
- 600ml beer
- 2 cups + 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 cups Frozen Potatoes from the united States, Straight cut

Heat the oil to 180ºC. Mix two cups of flour with salt and baking powder; add the beer and mix until you obtain a homogeneous preparation, if it is too thick add a little more beer.
Enharinen the sausages and cover with the beer. Distribute the potatoes in a pan, cover the sausage with them and fry it carefully so that it doesn’t peel off; put them on absorbent paper. Serve the corn dogs with ketchup and tartar sauce.
