Recipe Hot Cakes of wheat and oats, energetic and tasty

I have always preferred to sleep than eat in the morning, if, I am not a morning person, or as some say Morning Person, do not, I take long to get it to work my brain and that’s why I got used to breakfast smoothie which were tremendous bombs, with the time changed but I’m still not achieving to eat something very heavy up until after 10am, there if I already have all the attitude to eat an elephant (fortunately my children to educate them well and if they eat breakfast as it should be every morning). And well, for those days you just can’t afford the luxury of having a breakfast of champions…after 10am, these hot cakes of wheat and oats are wonderful because they provide energy to my body and brain as well as to be really very tasty. For those who eat breakfast like champions I’m sure you will love these pancakes of wheat and oats that can be served with jam, honey or whatever they want anymore!


  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of cottage cheese
  • 2 whole eggs and 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup of wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup of oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla


Place all of the ingredients in the blender Black+Decker and mix for 30 seconds until the mixture is almost smooth. Precalienten a griddle or a skillet over medium-high heat.
Pour approximately 1/4 cup of dough for hot cakes on the hot griddle or skillet, ny cook for about three minutes or until bubbles form on the top. Volteenn to the other side and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a plate and serve covered with fruit, seeds, sliced almonds, honey or jam.
