Vanilla Kipferl according to Christophe Felder

There is a recipe that I do very very very often and yet I have never spoken on this blog. It is cupcakes, Vanilla Kipferl appeared in the indispensable book, “cakes for the Advent of Christopher”. The recipe is amazingly simple and the result is “amazing” ! Adam and Queen loves it then necessarily there was in the house yesterday evening.

There was little I bought some vanilla beans at G. Detou : vanilla Bourbon, vanilla Tahitensis, whose Bubble has talked about it here. So I used the latter in these cupcakes.

For these cupcakes, you need :

35g caster sugar
1 vanilla pod
120g of soft butter
140g of flour
60g of almond powder
60g of icing sugar

2 sachets of vanilla sugar

Preheat the oven to 170°C.
Pour the caster sugar in the bowl of a mixer, add the vanilla pod, and mix to obtain a sugar of very vanilla. Sift the sugar in a cul-de-poule.
Add the soft butter, the flour, the almond powder. Mix together using a wooden spoon, until you obtain a homogeneous paste. Work this dough by hand, so as to obtain a ball and divide into 4 pieces. Roll each of the pieces in the shape of a flange on the floured work surface. Align and cut into pieces of approximately 2 cm.
Place these biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes.
Mix the icing sugar and the vanilla sugar.

After the cookies have baked, let them cool and coat in the icing sugar and vanilla.
